I love this theme! I only have one problem with it though: comments on pages don’t show, even if they’re enabled in the pages options… which means I have to go in and edit the page template. :’(

  4. Great theme. Absolutely beautiful.

Question: how do I change the number of Recent Comments and Recent Posts displayed? There’s 5 of each, but I’d like to see more.

    Thanks in advance.

I love this theme and am using it on two of my blogs. (Indeed, I am so pleased that I made a donation, which I encourage anyone who is using this theme to do to show support and thanks.)

Just one question…I’m new to Wordpress and am still finding my way. How do I add an “alt” tag to the header image? Thanks for your help on that one!

    Hi, there.

Could you tell me how to make it so that the theme stops resizing images in posts? I’m using the theme for my photo blog and the compression is making my images look murky. Thanks for the help!

    Hi

I have problem with Mandigo theme with IE and Opera. Under Firefox - everything is fine.
I discover, that under Opera and IE - there is no sidebars. I test with no plugins, different options etc. But still - no sidebars at all. Only, when you are looking page - then you can see sidebars at right and left. Under Firefox - its shows both sidebars fine.

Thanks for answer and thanks for great theme.

Hi, there! I love the Mandigo theme–it’s the only one I’ve found that works the way I want it to! Just one question: is there any way to make the auto-resizing of images STOP? I don’t like the compression that is happening to my photos (I’m a photographer) and I’d really like to just resize the photos myself and not have any automatic resizing happen at all. Please let me know if this is possible! Thank you.

Just upgraded to WP 2.5, and to Mandigo’s latest version. Everything still works! But I’m disappointed that I still cannot get Gravatars to show. In past Wordpress versions I’ve tried every code hack and every plugin available - none worked. So with 2.5 I was hoping it would work, but it still doesn’t. I set permissions in the dashboard and everything.

I’ve only been trying to change code in the comments.php file. Was there somewhere else I should have tried?

Any plans on re-writing the comments.php file (and/or any other pertinent files) to support Gravatars appearing in Mandigo?

  12. Hello there,

    Hi,

Im using the standard 2 column 1.32 version with the column on the left. How can I make the left column 50px smaller in width and the main column 50px wider? Am going round in circles.

Can someone please let me know, happy to donate for it.

    Tim:)

  14. Jay Says:

    Hi,

One thing that limits this theme is the horizontal menu system, I need it to support at least 3 subcategories for the pages to make it useful for me. It only supports 2 at this time. If this them incorporated a css flydown horizontal menu with support for various sublevels it would be excellent.

i.e. somthing similar to this would make it very functional:

    Jay

ps would make a donation for this feature as it would make the theme virtually perfect.

    Have spotted a bug,

    Just installed the latest version.

The top nav drop down menu drops behind the main post page so you cant see the links.

Think its a “position: relative;” problem somewhere

    Tim

  16. Tim Says:

The top menu supporting more sub-layers would also be great.

    Tim;)

  18. HelenH Says:

Loving the theme. Having slight problem with the header navigation - when submenus are enabled and subpages exist, submenus are hidden behind main content of page (IE7, WP2.5.1, Mandigo 1.33.1) Helen

  20. Has anyone had any luck using AdSense code in a widget for the left sidebar? I can’t get it to work. When the code is in place, the page doesn’t load. Strangely, when I put the code in the right sidebar, the page loads fine. I haven’t made any template changes at all.

hey, this is an amazing theme but i have a problem where it displays fine in IE but in firefox i just get a white background with text, and nothing is formatted or aligned. Perhaps it could be a css issue or my websites issue thebronxbombersblog.com ? i would really appreciate any help because this theme is so great i don’t want to use anything else.

    Here is the correction.

    Hi Tom,
Thanks for this awesome theme. I have seen it on other websites and it LOOKS GREAT AND I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IT PERMENENT on my site because of all the options.. I however (as much as I hate to) am going to have to abandon it for something else if I can’t find out what is wrong, Using the Latest Upgrade of Wordpress (2.6) and I cannot get the theme to show any graphics i.e. just white page with my content listed. Better explained if it is seen i.e. http://www.incomeintheusa.info/weblog/
    1. NO nested directory
If you are any of your readers have any suggestions as to why this is happening It would be greatly appreciated as I really like this theme, stick with it and get rid of the other 40 or so I have in my /themes/ dir.

    Thanks,
    Arthur

Since upgrading to Mandigo 1.3.7 ( from an earlier version ) we have had problems with adsense in the left sidebar.
We had adsense code in a text widget in both sidebars but since the upgrade Firefox will only display a blank page ( no website at all ) if there is adsense in the left sidebar.
I have no idea what is causing this as the problem only occurs when using firefox to view the site.
Its not overly important but I would like to balance the sidebars content,,
I see a few have had this problem with earlier versions but has anyone had this issue with the latest version of this wonderful theme?

    cheers
    Chris

Hi, I am using the Mandigo theme since may for the website of my football club http://www.daltovoetbal.nl. It is a very nice theme to use, flexible as we need to adjust some code as we do not wish to have comments (we use this as a information site). As the code is build up quite easely this is easy to adjust. Although I have one minor problem.

Recently I upgraded to 1.38 (wordpress 2.5.1) and since then I have in firefox problems (25% of the browsers used to view the website) with the drop down menu. It seems that there are black borders around the items in the menu. This problem is not within IE. I have tried variuos HTML Inserts with regard to tables and backgrounds (bordercolor, bgcolor etc.) but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    R.
